Jacob Dylan

Jacob was born and raised in Pittsburgh, where he developed a passion for art and self-expression. He ventured into different artistic interests and honed his craft at several tattoos shops all over Pennsylvania and central Ohio focusing on tattoo artistry for nearly 20 years.

His portfolio includes a range of notable styles, from American Traditional, neo traditional, abstract, illustrative realism, blackwork, and medium scale Japanese. He pulls inspiration from many different tattoo artists from many backgrounds but has developed his own personal style. Jacob is also an avid cyclist, a practitioner in Muay Thai, dog lover, video game fanatic, and bonafide foodie.

Currently based at Black Horizon Tattoo in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jacob continues to push his own artistic boundaries within the tattoo industry, working on personal projects and expanding his skill set. His commitment to his art and his clients makes tattooing feel like more of a "spiritual transaction" within the the confines of tattooing being a safe space with compassion, empathy, love, and good vibes.
